Welcome! My name is Constance "Connie" Ingrum, a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern, supervised by Robert Good, M.A., LPC-S. I have a master's degree in professional counseling and am also a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, with over a decade of experience working with individuals and groups. I currently provide individual and couples/marriage counseling services to adults and adolescents at Stonebriar Counseling Associates in Frisco and Plano .
The treatment focus of individual and couples therapy is providing you with a neutral safe space to discuss and process concerns, gain the skills, insight, confidence, and other strengths for healing and obtaining successful resolutions to problems in your relationships and other areas in your life you may be struggling with.
My goals are to assist you in defining the issues you are dealing with, identifying potential options, goals, and solutions, and building skills to cope, heal, and move forward to where you want to be in your relationships and in life.
Every person has unique experiences, personalities, and perceptions that influence how they feel, think, and interact with others. Treatment plans are highly individualized and are customized according to each client's specific needs and situations.
Depression, fear, anxiety, anger, grief, relationship problems, and life adjustments are just some of the most common issues and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Individual therapy offers a safe, caring, and confidential environment to help you address these challenges, have a better understanding of yourself and others, and gain tools to heal, set personal goals, and make healthy and effective changes in your life.
